Ephesians 5:22 ....HUSBANDS

UGH! Please tell me that I'm not the only one who thinks her husband is the love of her life....but could ring his neck at the same time!!! I have a routine on his pay days, spend all morning getting ready to run errands - and watching my 2 soaps - (because I try <---KEY WORD to only go out when I have too, and I try to keep it at 2ce a month, when it's only me and the girls), then I purposely go to the next town over to the bank in the afternoon so that 2ce a month I can get my favorite Taco Burger and stop at the best McDonalds in the county to get a decent Vanilla Iced Coffee! See my WONDERFUL hubby works nights so he hardly ever go with me to run errands on pay day. NOT TODAY!!!!! Oh no! Today it's RUSH RUSH RUSH! My food place was closed, cause it was so darned early, and it was morning shift at McD's, and the high schooler working the window don't know how to make an Iced coffee! I could go on and on about how my day has been all kinds of messed up but I won't. I'm going to take a minute to look up a verse in my KJV Bible that will calm me and promote loving my hubby....OK, Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. This is one of my favorite verses. Non belivers try to use it as fire against belivers and belivers use it and the surrounding verses to explain why they respect their husbands enough to not be running around all over town without them!! I wouldn't get mad at the Lord like I did my hubby this morning! I'm suposed to love hubby like Christ so I'd better go repent, and make up cause if I look at it that way....Let's put it this way; If I had acted toward Christ like I did hubby this morning...I'd be begging for forgivness. The 1awesomelife I want to honor today...is The Apostle Paul. With out his awesome books of the Bible we would be lost souls. I have to say he is my favorite writer in the whole Bible. Do you know of 1awesomelife? How would you honor it? CV

  1. You are not the only one who thinks her husband is the love of her life, but could ring his neck at the same time! LOL I love my husband, but my goodness does he ever test my patience and unconditional love! lol I just posted something on my blog about unconditional love and being in difficult situations. I think God has allowed me to be around difficult people so that my patience and unconditional love will grow. Great post, thanks so much for sharing!
